Representatives from the European Member States in the EU Standing Committee on Plants, Animals, Food and Feed (SCOPAFF) voted in favour of a revised European Commission proposal on identification criteria for endocrine disrupting chemicals in pesticides, also known as hormone disruptors or EDCs.

The EDC-Free Europe coalition has repeatedly warned that the proposed criteria were not sufficient to protect human health and the environment. EDC-Free Europe campaign partners, together with SumOfUs, collected signatures from over 467K Europeans urging the European Commission to adapt its proposal and to stand up for health.
